Emergency Preparedness Training for Your Workplace

When an emergency starts, every minute is lost to confusion: who calls whom, who shuts what off, which exit to use and where to gather. This training sets out your emergency plan with your team, gives every key person a clear role, and practises the steps until they are routine.

Why emergency preparedness training matters

Most of the harm in a workplace emergency happens in the first few minutes, before help arrives. Sites that come through well are not lucky: their people know the plan, know their role and have practised it.

The training also gives you what inspectors, insurers and client auditors look for: a plan your people understand, named roles and a record of training.

Fire is the most common emergency

Make sure your first response works: the right fire extinguishers near exits and risks, working alarms and clear escape routes. A fire safety audit finds the gaps.

Emergency preparedness training FAQs

Quick answers to what companies ask us most. For anything else, ask us on WhatsApp.

Ask on WhatsApp
What is emergency preparedness training?

Training that prepares your people to respond to emergencies at your site: the emergency plan, roles, raising the alarm, evacuation, the assembly point and head count.

How is it different from a fire mock drill?

The training teaches the plan and the roles. A mock drill tests them in practice. Most sites do the training first and then a drill.

Which emergencies does it cover?

Fire first, plus the other emergencies that apply to your site, such as gas leaks, chemical spills, electrical accidents and medical emergencies.

Can you help us write an emergency plan?

We review your existing plan during the training and suggest simple changes. If you do not have one, we share a basic structure to build on.

How long is the training?

Usually half a day to one day, depending on the size of the site and the number of roles. We can split it to fit your shifts.

Do participants get a certificate?

Yes. Every participant gets a certificate of participation, and you get an attendance record.
