AAAG RRL (reinforced rubber lined) fire hose pipes for hydrant systems, 63mm, with male and female instantaneous couplings fitted: Type A or Type B, 7.5 or 15 metre, gunmetal or stainless steel couplings.
AAAG RRL fire hose pipe
RRL (reinforced rubber lined) fire hose has a rubber lining inside a woven jacket of 100% synthetic yarn. Fire fighters prefer it because it is durable and resists heat and abrasion when dragged over rough ground. Every AAAG hose here is 63mm and comes ready to use, with a male and a female instantaneous coupling fitted at the ends.
Type A or Type B
Type A: the standard hose for building hydrant systems, offices, malls and housing societies.
Type B: a heavier duty hose for factories, refineries, plants and fire brigades where hoses see harder use. Working pressure about 14 bar (maker).
Length and couplings
15 metre hoses are the usual length at each hydrant point; 7.5 metre hoses suit short runs and hose boxes with less space. Gunmetal couplings are the traditional, heavy choice; stainless steel couplings are lighter and corrosion resistant.
