Ceasefire foam fire extinguisher
A foam fire extinguisher is made for flammable liquid fires and also works on solids. The foam forms a blanket over the burning liquid, cuts off the vapour and stops it from re-lighting. Ceasefire aspirating models mix air into the foam at the nozzle for a thicker, longer-lasting blanket and a throw of over 3 metres.
Which type?
AFFF, MS body: the standard choice for petrol pumps, garages, workshops and generator rooms.
AFFF, SS body: stainless steel resists corrosion; for coastal sites, chemical plants and food units.
AFFF-R (alcohol resistant): for alcohol, solvents, paints and other polar liquids that break normal foam.
Fluorine free (FFF): a greener foam for sites that avoid fluorinated chemicals.
Spray model: a spray nozzle instead of the aspirating one.
