HDFIRE – Conventional Sprinkler

HDFIRE Conventional Sprinkler Pendent and Upright is a small, thermosensitive, glass-bulb spray sprinkler available in several different finishes and temperature ratings to meet design requirements. Sprinkler is UL Listed. During fire, the heat-sensitive liquid in the glass bulb expands, causing the glass bulb to shatter. Conventional sprinklers, also known as pendant or upright sprinklers, are widely used fire suppression devices found in various commercial, industrial, and residential settings. They consist of a metal frame with a nozzle at the bottom and are typically mounted on pipes attached to the ceiling. These sprinklers operate on a simple yet effective principle: when a fire breaks out and raises the temperature in the vicinity of the sprinkler head, a heat-sensitive element inside the sprinkler activates. This activation causes the sprinkler head to release pressurized water onto the surrounding area, helping to suppress the flames and control the spread of fire until firefighters arrive.
