Hochiki  Model YBO-R/6RS is a Conventional Hochiki Schottky Diode Detector Mounting Base associated with the New CDX Range of Detectors and is fully compatible with the majority of existing conventional fire alarm and security control panels.The square cable clamps supply secure and reliable cable termination, but the base does not ensure line continuity during detector removal. The integrated third terminal provides remote indicator output.

The inclusion of a latching relay in the detector base allows for the implementation of advanced signaling. And control functions in fire alarm systems. A latching relay maintains its state (either open or closed) even after power is removed.  Which is useful for triggering alarms, activating auxiliary devices, or signaling system status changes.
