Kartar cast iron sluice valve
The sluice valve (gate valve for mains) gives a clear bore when open and isolates the line when closed. Kartar sluice valves have cast iron bodies, flanged ends and a PN16 rating.
Rising spindle: the spindle rises as the valve opens, so its position is visible; preferred in pump houses and fire lines.
Non rising spindle: needs less height; for valve chambers and underground lines.
