MS buttweld reducer
A reducer joins a larger pipe to a smaller one. A concentric reducer keeps both pipes on the same centre line, for most hydrant mains. An eccentric reducer keeps one side flat; on a pump suction it is fitted flat side up so no air pocket forms.
