Safex
Safex clean agent modular fire extinguisher
The clean agent modular extinguisher is a small automatic suppression unit for one room. Safex units hang from the ceiling; in a fire, the heat-sensing glass bulb bursts and the clean agent floods the area below. The gas leaves no residue, so it is the usual choice where powder would damage equipment.
Where to fit it
Server and UPS rooms, battery rooms, electrical and control panel rooms, telecom shelters, archives and record rooms. No wiring, pipework or panel is needed.
Which size?
2 kg for small rooms and large panels, 5 kg for typical UPS and server rooms, 10 kg for bigger rooms. Send us the room size and height for the number of units.
For stores and DG rooms where residue is not a problem, the ABC modular costs less. For a hand-held unit, see Safex portable clean agent. More in modular fire extinguishers.
