Signature ceramic fiber welding blanket
A ceramic fiber blanket is woven from alumina silica fibre. It is thick, light and insulates very well at high heat, so it is used to shield equipment from radiant heat as well as from spatter. Signature ceramic fiber cloth is 3 mm thick.
Where it is used
Furnace and kiln openings, heat treatment, boiler and turbine work, stress relieving and preheating, and heavy welding and cutting.
