Description
About Udyogi Proban Flame Retardent
Udyogi Proban Flame Retardent is a advanced protective garment is crafted from Proban treated 100% cotton fabric, ensuring high levels of safety and durability. Proban finishing imparts flame retardant properties to the fabric by embedding a polymer into the cotton fibers, which cannot be removed except by powerful oxidizing agents. This ensures that the flame retardant characteristics are long-lasting, even after repeated laundering, with the garment retaining its protective capabilities for up to 100 wash cycles. When exposed to flames, Proban fabrics form an insulating char layer that remains in place, providing effective protection to the wearer by preventing the spread of flames and reducing the risk of burn injuries. The material does not smolder, has no afterglow, does not melt, and prevents the flame from spreading beyond the charred area, enhancing the safety features of the garment.
The fabric weight is 350 ± 5% g/m² (10.32 ± 5% oz/yd²), offering a balance of comfort and protection. The garments are available in a range of sizes from small to extra large, with options for custom sizing to ensure a perfect fit for all users. The protective clothing comes in various styles to suit different needs and preferences, including a single-piece coverall, jacket and pant combination, long coat, and bib type apron. Each style is available with or without reflective tapes, enhancing visibility in low-light conditions and improving safety.
