Armorfire orifice plates that cut excess pressure at fire hydrant landing valves on lower floors, so the hose can be handled safely: galvanised mild steel (MSGI) or stainless steel 304, for single or double valves.

In tall buildings, the landing valves on the lower floors get much more pressure than the top floors. Too much pressure makes the hose hard to hold. An orifice plate fitted at the valve inlet reduces the pressure at that point. Armorfire makes them in two materials:
MSGI (galvanised mild steel): lower cost
SS304 (stainless steel): does not rust
Single hydrant valve: OD 140 mm, ID 50 mm. Double hydrant valve: OD 157 mm, ID 60 mm.
