Ceasefire ABC fire extinguisher
The ABC fire extinguisher covers the widest range of fires with one unit: wood, paper and cloth (class A), flammable liquids (class B), gases (class C) and electrically started fires. Ceasefire units use MAP 90 powder (about 90% mono ammonium phosphate) for a high fire rating per kg, in a mild steel body with a red finish and a compact gun housing valve on the small sizes.
Stored pressure or cartridge?
Stored pressure (500 g to 9 kg): always pressurised, with a gauge to show it is ready. The usual choice for homes, cars, offices, shops and factories.
Cartridge (4 and 6 kg): the body is pressurised only when the CO2 cartridge is pierced at the time of use; easy to refill on site and preferred at heavy-use industrial sites.
Which size?
500 g and 1 kg for cars, kitchens and small cabins; 2 kg for homes and shops; 4 kg for offices and corridors; 6 kg for factories and warehouses; 9 kg for larger risks.
