Kanex carbon dioxide (CO2) fire extinguishers with 99.95% pure CO2 gas, 2, 3 and 4.5 kg, with discharge horn: for electrical panels, server rooms, DG rooms and small flammable liquid fires.

Kanex CO2 fire extinguisher

A CO2 extinguisher smothers a fire by displacing oxygen and cools it at the same time. CO2 does not conduct electricity and leaves no residue, so it is the standard choice next to electrical panels, server racks, DG sets and in labs. Kanex CO2 units use 99.95% pure carbon dioxide.

2 kg: offices, cabins and single panels

Can CO2 be used on electrical fires?

Yes. CO2 does not conduct electricity and leaves no residue, which is why it is placed next to panels and server racks.

Is CO2 good for paper or wood fires?

Not really; it suits class B (liquid) and electrical fires. For wood and paper, use an ABC or water extinguisher.

Do extinguishers need refilling?

Yes. Get extinguishers checked regularly, refilled after any use and serviced as per the maker’s schedule. Ask us for refilling and servicing support.
