Safex
Safex ABC modular fire extinguisher
An automatic modular fire extinguisher hangs from the ceiling and works without anyone present. When the room heats up in a fire, the glass bulb in the nozzle bursts and Safex ABC powder (MAP 50) is spread over the area below, putting out class A, B and C fires early.
Where to fit it
Stores and godowns, DG and electrical rooms, parking, archives, workshops and other rooms that are locked or unattended. It does not need wiring, pipework or a panel.
Which size?
2 kg for small rooms and cabinets, 5 kg for typical stores and plant rooms, and 10 kg for larger rooms. Big rooms take several units spaced across the ceiling; send us the room size and height and we will suggest the number.
For server rooms and panels where powder residue is a problem, see the Safex clean agent modular extinguisher. More in modular fire extinguishers.
