Zoloto bronze gate valve
A gate valve opens fully to give a straight, full-bore path with very little pressure loss, and closes tight when the wedge comes down. Zoloto bronze gate valves have screwed ends, a hand wheel and a bronze body that resists corrosion in water service.
Where it is used
Isolation valves on water supply lines, overhead and underground tank outlets, fire water and hose reel lines, pump suction and delivery, and building plumbing. Use it fully open or fully closed; for flow control use a ball valve or a globe valve.

A gate valve is wheel operated and suits isolation on bigger screwed lines; a ball valve opens and shuts with a quarter turn and suits smaller lines and quick shut-off.
