Signature high silica welding blanket
A high silica welding blanket takes much more heat than ordinary fiberglass. Signature silica cloth (about 96% silica) protects floors, machines, cables and walls from heavy spatter, molten slag and hot work, and is used as a welding curtain and a fire barrier.
Which thickness?
0.8 mm: general welding and gas cutting, curtains and machine covers.
1.4 mm: heavy spatter, overhead welding, foundries and steel plants.
