Zoloto cast iron non return valve
A non return valve (NRV, check valve) lets water flow one way and closes when the flow reverses, protecting pumps and stopping tanks from draining back. Zoloto cast iron NRVs have a swing disc inside a flanged body with a bolted top cover for inspection.
Where it is used
Delivery side of fire, booster and transfer pumps, tank fill lines, water mains and drainage pumping. The 1083A range can be fitted horizontally or vertically (flow up).
