Zoloto butterfly valve
A butterfly valve turns a disc in the bore through a quarter turn to open or close the line. It is much shorter and lighter than a sluice valve of the same size, so it is the usual choice on large pipes where space and weight matter. Zoloto 1078A valves are rated PN16.
Where it is used
Pump suction and delivery headers, water treatment and distribution, cooling towers and HVAC chilled water, and fire water ring mains.
